We are Maud and Katerina, designers and best friends. MaudiKa is a contraction of our forenames.
We studied fashion design and pattern making in Paris. We always loved creating exceptional dresses rich with quirky details and decided to create our own brand after a successful mini-collection launched in an independent shop in Paris in 2012.
We then sold our dresses online and due to the increased demand, we opened our own showroom in central Oxford in May 2017 until September 2018.
Now, we regularly send our dresses to different shops for trunk shows and are featured in several styled shoots in collaboration with local photographers.
We design, create and handmake all our dresses from A to Z using mainly British and French fabrics, so you can be sure they are sustainable and carefully made for you! All remnants are reused as veils or details in dresses such as sleeves. All our dresses are vegan and eco-friendly.
